VoIP and phone-system installation
Support is available for installing and connecting compatible VoIP desk phones, cordless DECT handsets and base stations. Existing network points can be checked, and additional cabling can be discussed when a phone is needed in a different room or work area.
Telephone extensions and cabling
We can assess existing telephone or data cabling, add suitable connection points and help tidy older setups. Where a modern VoIP telephone depends on the local network, the router, switch, cabling and handset connection can all be checked together.
Broadband and router fault finding
A broadband problem may come from the provider's service, the router, internal cabling, Wi-Fi coverage or connected network equipment. Testing the setup helps narrow down the cause and provides clearer information if the fault needs referred back to the provider.
Moves, changes and replacement equipment
If a handset needs relocated, replaced or connected to a new network point, NorthForge can check what is already installed and explain what is required. Equipment will not be recommended until the existing setup and the intended use are understood.
